About Jack West
National Director of Pro Athletes Group
A former NFL athlete turned corporate leader, Jack G. West brings over three decades of marketing expertise to his role as National Director of Pro Athletes Group, where he oversees regional development and empowers professional athletes for successful career transitions.
With a four-year athletic scholarship from Eastern New Mexico University under his belt, Jack earned accolades in college football before entering the NFL as a free agent with stops at the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints (1974–1975). His passion for mentorship led him to create the "Player Career Path Program", a groundbreaking initiative that guides athletes in transitioning from sports to corporate careers—a program still utilized today by career consultants and investment organizations.
Jack’s corporate journey includes leadership roles at industry giants like IBM, Olympus America Corporation, and United States Surgical Corporation, where he excelled in sales, marketing, and management. His strategic vision and dedication to excellence have made him a trusted leader in both sports and business.
"A graduate of Eastern New Mexico University (1972), Jack credits his discipline and drive to his mentors: Jack Scott, head football coach at ENMU, and Lamar McHan, the legendary special teams and receiver coach for the New Orleans Saints.
His lifelong commitment to excellence was formally recognized in 2025, when he was nominated and inducted into the Eastern New Mexico University Hall of Honors. This induction celebrates Jack’s impact as an outstanding alumnus, his dedication to the community, and his lasting contributions to the university's athletics program."
